Introduction

Primary School Attached to Huludao Teachers Training College is the only primary school that is attached to the Huludao Education Bureau. The school specializes in its bilingual teaching program. We are the recognized advanced bilingual teaching unit in Liaoning province. We have 30 classes, more than 1500 students and 78 teachers.

Huludao is a seaside city of around 600,000 people, situated in the southwest of Liaoning province. The city is well-known for its beautiful beaches, which attract many visitors in the summer. The Huludao area is also rich in history, including the ancient town of Xingcheng, which still boasts its original city walls. The Great Wall meets the sea 2 hours south of Huludao at Shanhaiguan. While Huludao is still a very traditional Chinese city, it is big enough for foreigners to live comfortably, and now has western restaurants and department stores.

• Major: Preference given to English major and education training
• Experience: 6-12 months
• Nationality: Native-speakers from USA, Australia, Canada, England, Ireland, new Zealand only.
• College Graduates or equivalent education at least

Offerings

• Salary and workload: Basic salary between 5000-6000RMB (based on degree) per month for 20 40-mintue lessons a week. If a teacher is required to work more than 20 lessons a week, the overtime rate is 70RMB per lesson.
• A normal teaching day is from 7:50am-3:40pm with a one and a half lunch break.
• Airfares: We offer teachers round-trip ticket reimbursement for one-year contract. At most 6000RMB

  • A: The school is 5-min taxi ride or 10-min bus ride.

  • A: Beijing 4 and a half hours by bus; Shenyang (capital city of Liaoning province) 3 hours by bus.
• Can you accept teaching couples?
  • A: Yes, we can.
• Can you accept teacher with non-teaching husband/wife/children?
  • A: Yes, we can. But we just take responsibility for the teacher. The children can study in our school for free.

The Chinese-English teacher's have a thorough grasp of oral and grammatical English as well as being helpful and friendly. The students are well-behaved and class sizes are smaller than that of most schools in Huludao.
