Bad  Affiliated High School of Peking University
Key Words:  Beijing  Beijing
TitleXINGZHENG SCHOOL MISS ZHONG XUDONG
Author: roger pickering
Don¡¯t be miss led by the advert for this school as the name of the school does not exist, there is no XINGZHENG SCHOOL.The name is a figment of the immagination dreamed up by MISS ZHONG XUDONG.The proper name of the school is;The Affiliated High School of Peking University. It is just a brand name and does not reflect the true nature of members of the staff or the administration.Stalag 17 has got nothing on this school,Refer the comments on www.daveseslcafe.com.The actual school is in a very isolated rural area with very high concrete walls and razor sharp wire on the top and searchlights abound for those students or foreign teachers who want to flee the school to get away from the Gestapo type running of the school by Miss Zhong Xudong and Co.This school is listed as being one of the most corrupt schools in China. You wont ever get paid on time,if ever.the food there is uneatable and there are severe restrictions on your movements.Teacher Beware.A Very happy ex-teacher

The school facility itself was kept spotlessly clean all the time. Each teacher had his own personal computer. Pay was almost always a week or more late. Sometimes we were paid a portion of the salary one day, and the remainder a few days after, but we were always paid in full. Management there were coming and going there like they were passing through a revolving door.

Be careful of this school. The management are very friendly on the surface, but have proved themselves to be willing to lie, blackmail, slander, distort people's words and even make attempts to steal at a moment's notice

Bad  TMC China   Details
Key Words:  Beijing  Beijing
TitleTMC "Private Schools from Hell"
Author: Michael Cox
TMC China has a very interesting detail: 100% of their foreign teachers does not last more than a year. Also notice I am talking about TMC China.
Lessons learned:
1) Too good to be true is simply too good to be true.
2) Wary dealing with private institutions.
3) Do not move a finger without having a signed contract in front of you (oh I forgot to mention that TMC changed their contract 3 times and I could never sign it)
4) New York does not mean New York City. Be careful to be sent to a place where not even buses go.
5) If you deal with TMC, or any other company, don't believe anything that is not in paper.s

TitleBeijing BFanZhiDu, FuLaiDe, Xi3Qi Advanced, AoJing
Author: Heath Jeffrey
FanZhiDu was, and will be a great school
FuLaiDe, and XiSanQi Advanced Language School are both based on companies which help students to travel overseas, and as such are clearly designed to make money, and nothing else.
AoJing is definetly not a good place to work.
By word of mouth, I have heard that Modern English, and Dell Education, are both quite good.

Author: VIK
I am not a native speaker, he called me and offered a job with an accomodation, after 10 days of work when he saw I have posted almost 150 advertisements for the teachers, he asked me that there are no results coming and in I need to leave. I was forced to leave the accomodation immediately without any money paid to me for 10 days and suffered a lot of humiliation from him.

TitleHow Yakup from Yakup International treat his applicants
Author: Against Yakup <againstyakup(at)hotmail.com>
Hello, I am here to tell you what happened to people in Yakup International, Dr.Yakup sell people to schools and then ask for 100$ from the applicant for the placement fee, which means he gets money both ways. And he never and would never willing to pay his employees salary, he promises people something before they come to china, and then completely dump them after they arrive.
There is an American Chinese, her boyfriend is in China, so she came here to work, Yakup could not place her a position because she looks like Chinese, She is not a white, after a few days, Yakup tried to get rid of her, he drove them to a middle of nowhere, threw their luggage out of his van, and made them get off the van, then he drove away¡¡.

My Experience
You are welcome to describe your experience in China, and share your thoughts and feelings on our website.
We always say, if something good happens you will tell one person; something bad happens you will tell ten people. Generally, people remember the negative things more than the positive things. We do not have responsibility to verify every detail. Actually, a good description does not mean that is really perfect; and a bad personal feeling does not mean every thing is horrible.
All articles are personal experience and viewpoint. People use different eyes to look at a thing so result will be difference. The important thing is we have different culture background. China is a beautiful country, and she also is a developing country. Compare to some developed countries we still have some problems especially in some small towns and countryside. But China still has more sparking.
