There was no air-conditioning or fan even though the temperture was 30 degrees. Ms Molly said OH it will be winter soon you don't need air-con. There was no hot water. There was no cooking facilities although you could eat the chinese food for free at the school canteen. The was a no mattress on the bed. There was no hot water. The list goes on. I really don't understand why the Chinese employers treat highly qualified Western teachers in that manner other than they being ignorant of our basic needs and wants. I can understand why there were no other native speakers at that school.
