qualification to teach in china…….be white.

I couldn't believe my ears when a friend of mine told me he spent a couple of months in china looking for an English position without success….the reason: he is of african descent. I was really shocked, because I knew this guy for a long time and never doubted his proficiency.  What I couldn't understand is that my gf who is a student in of the china's leading universtity namely Beijing Foreign studies University literally begged me to come and be their teacher….coz they're having hard time understanding their white english teacher who is french, their previous English teacher was spanish. It seems that china is the dream come true for all unqualified white teachers. Picking positions in leading  universities, scoring chicks, and making some money to get drunk.
