Heads up…Teaching English Foshan Guandong

Teaching in asia is wonderful… I just returned from working in Foshan, Guandong. Heads up to all that is interested in working at Ling Dong (located in Foshan). In the year I have worked there I have seen many teachers leave because they were unhappy with the unprofessional conduct of management. The director will tell you anything just to get you to come to the school. Then to find out while you are signing the contract that it 'was a misunderstanding'. For example: You will have an apartment by yourself (false). A large some will be reimbursed for your plane ticket (false). You will only be required to work 24 hours a week(false). This is just to name a few. These problems that I overlooked for a year got personal when they assured me over and over again that my sister had a position at Ling Dong. Then when they found out that I would not be returning to their school they waited till I returned home to cancel their agreement. Their reasons were that I 'want to make more money at another school'. (Is this a form of punishment?) My sister at this time had already bought her ticket and made arangements for China.
