| Harbin is great, I can't speak for the rest of China beacause I have only spent small amaounts of time here or there. But I have spent the last 4 years in Harbin and to be quite honest it has been a great experience. I have met loads of good folks and had many a good memerable experience. Beers cheep and food is delicious . The students ar hard working and ready to learn and I think the reason for us guys being here is to teach them and prepare them for the influx of the western world in the next few years. Show them what freedom of imagination is, so when they are the teachers and the leaders of the next generation they will judge fairly and share the wealth. To be honest ,I,being an Englishman in a foreign country, have had the chance to see what a nation of complainers and beligerant protagonists I hail from. Sure, I have had me fair share of complaints and ups and downs but lets be fair….. A) we don’t pay tax B) we don’t pay rent C) some of us don’t pay bills D beers cheap E)foods cheap F)you can go out and get sploshed and get a cab home and eat and still have change out of an hours pay. G)you have a lot of spare time for yourself minus the stress of having to sort out the bills , worry about the price of things ect H)your on the other side of the world amongst a 5000 year old culture that has been developing as a social order since the pharoes. I) we are popular with most people and we are more attractive to people of another race :) Lets remember good foreign folks , that this aint home sweet home , it's China , and we're not Chinese.
